The association „Društvo pod dudom“ Morović is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in 2024 with the aim of protecting and improving the environment, developing the rural community and encouraging active citizen participation in nature conservation. Through volunteer actions, educational programs and outdoor events, we work on concrete changes in our community. We believe that responsibility toward the environment begins in one’s own yard, street and village.
We place special emphasis on practical activities – cleaning natural areas, afforestation, ecological workshops, outdoor sporting events and public events that encourage responsible behavior toward natural resources.
The bodies of the Association are:
The Assembly consists of all members of the Association and is the highest decision-making body.
The Assembly adopts the Statute and other general acts, approves the work plan and program, reviews and adopts reports on operations and financial management, decides on the election and dismissal of members of the Association’s bodies, as well as on status matters and the further development of the organization.
The Managing Board is the executive body that directs the work of the Association between two Assembly sessions.
It organizes activities, implements the decisions of the Assembly, makes operational and financial decisions and ensures the realization of the Association’s goals.
The President of the Managing Board represents the Association in legal matters and is responsible for the legality of its work, while the Vice-President acts in his absence.
The Supervisory Board controls financial operations and oversees the legality of the Association’s work.
It informs the Managing Board and the Assembly of any observed irregularities, thereby providing an additional level of accountability and transparency.
The work of the Association is public. Members and the interested public are regularly informed about activities, decisions and financial reports. This ensures trust, accountability and the long-term sustainability of the organization.
