Welcoming spring – Cleaning Morović 28.2.2026
Welcoming spring, on Saturday 28 February 2026 Društvo pod dudom continued its outdoor activities aimed at preserving our environment. 💚
The Morović clean-up brought together members of the association, friends, enthusiasts and – something that especially delights us and gives us hope that the need for such actions will decrease in the future – a large number of children. 🫂
Nice weather, good will and hardworking hands helped us send important messages about our relationship with nature, homeland and togetherness, and a well-earned reward followed the job well done – homemade wood-fired pizza and good company. 🍕
The Root of Our Generation 4.12.2025
🌳 The association „Društvo pod dudom“, in cooperation with the „Branko Radičević“ Primary School from Šid, is launching an initiative that we hope will grow into a tradition – „The Root of Our Generation“ – dedicated to nurturing ecological awareness and togetherness among students. 👫🏼👫🏻
🍃 As part of this initiative, first-grade students planted young saplings of Japanese cherry, Judas tree, tulip tree, ornamental hawthorn and linden in the schoolyard, taking the first step toward creating their future green space.
🌱 Our idea and goal is for each successive generation to receive its own tree, which they will care for throughout their schooling and watch grow together with them. In this way students develop responsibility, respect for nature and a sense of belonging to the school and community.
💌 The initiative aims to create lasting values, but also to remind us all that great processes begin with small yet meaningful steps.
Lipovača clean-up action 12.10.2025
A year has passed since our first clean-up action. The association was only just being formed. Some of us met for the first time at that very first gathering, others joined later.
At first glance, a group of completely different types of people, yet we do have something in common – a love of nature and a healthy environment. 🌳🌲🌿
We returned to where, in a way, it all began.
Another successfully completed action is behind us. We collected the waste that had piled up since our last action a year ago at this location, as well as waste that had been there far longer, because this time we ventured deeper into the forest. 👣🌳🍁🍂
What is important to mention is that the circle of volunteers is growing, and among them are more and more children who are becoming aware of the importance of preserving clean nature and the environment. 😊
Let us set a good example for children and not leave waste behind us. Let us protect what we have, because there is no replacement for it. 🌍🍀💚
